About the Role

 

We are looking for a new Senior Director with wide-ranging expertise in communications research, including campaign evaluation, creative development and strategic consultancy. In this role, you will lead some of the highest-profile client accounts across UK Government, oversee relationships with numerous agencies and partners, and support the leadership and management of our sector-leading Behavioural and Communications offer.

 

 

Responsabilities

 

  • Leading two-three major client accounts, building positive individual relationships, providing strategic advice and expertise, and ensuring our offer draws on Verian’s capabilities to meet and exceed their needs
  • Providing oversight and quality assurance for project work, overseeing the development of project designs, research tools and reporting, and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Providing financial oversight of your accounts and the projects within them, and identifying opportunities for additional or added-value work
  • Driving continuous improvement throughout the project and account management processes
  • Leading or making substantial contributions to new business activities, preparing proposals and pitches, pro-actively engaging with potential clients
  • Role-modelling excellence in research, client and commercial management, and people management
  • Line managing one or more individuals and supporting their work and development
  • Supporting the leadership of the Behavioural and Communications team, and building collaborative and effective relationships with other Verian teams, markets and functions

 

Required Skills

 

  • Extensive experience and skills in research at different stages in the communications cycle, in particular quantitative campaign evaluation based on survey and non-survey data
  • Practical experience of applying behavioural science to the development of communications research approaches and recommendations
  • strong understanding of quantitative research and analysis methods
  • Proven experience of account and project oversight, with strong client partnership skills and an ability to lead an account team to deliver excellent work
  • A desire to contribute to the leadership of a growing, innovative team which is well established, uniquely positioned and keen to expand its offer
  • An affinity for innovative project design and the commercial skill to apply this to developing new opportunities for work
