About The Role

Our Brussels office is looking for a Research Intern to join our team of experts. In this role, you’ll focus on  international multi-country surveys and analysis while collaborating with the Centre Verian sur l'Europe, a team dedicated to providing insights on opinion polls, societal and economic trends, and demographics across Europe and on international issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing quantitative and qualitative projects, particularly those involving multi-country research
• Collaborate with team members and external providers on a variety of tasks to ensure successful project delivery
• Review survey data and reports for accuracy
• Create graphs and client presentations
• Draft written analyses and papers using survey data
• Contribute to preparing online webinars (invitation, presentation deck, summary)

Requirements:

• Currently studying in fields such as Social Sciences, Political Science, Statistics, or Survey Methods (Science Po, Progis, etc.)
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in social and political research, especially European policies
• Solid understanding of research methods, with a Master’s degree being ideal
• Experience with SPSS is a plus
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create graphs, charts, and presentations
• Excellent written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of another EU language (particularly German) is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized, dynamic, and able to multitask

Our Internship Offer

• Contract internship - internship agreement (convention de stage) is required
• Duration: 6 months
• Allowance: €850 per month
• Working hours: 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm)
• Location: Brussels 1000 - Trône
