About the role

 

This role will support the SA and WA team in the project management of research delivery including the timely delivery of projects on budget, questionnaire or interview guide design, project design, proposal development, recruitment and fieldwork supply management, analysis and reporting. This role will also collaborate with the team about the design, execution and delivery of projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Winning work

 

  • Support senior staff in the development of outstanding proposals
  • Contributing to project design as part of the brainstorm
  • Responsible for preparing project background, project timelines, preparation of experience and team sections and standard tender schedules as well as contributing to methodology sections
  • Responsible for seeking competitive quotes from suppliers and preparing a first draft pricing sheet


Managing projects

  • Responsible for monitoring progress against the project schedule, ensuring ISO and quality standards and procedures are being followed and compliance with applicable industry standards and market research guidelines
  • Manage project setup and administration in business systems, including creating and maintaining project details, managing access permissions, and overseeing invoicing workflows
  • Monitor project budgets, actively looks for ways to minimise costs, and manages some financial administration including PO generation and cost sheet maintenance as required
  • Keep clients and Project Lead informed of the project’s progress against schedule
  • Manage suppliers throughout each project
  • Support Project Lead as appropriate with development of questionnaires and / or discussion guides as well as assistance with interviews as needed


Analysis and reporting

 

  • Provide preliminary analysis and conclusions
  • Develop and contributes to the storytelling plan and report content while identifying opportunities for automation and template-based chart outsourcing
  • Able to support project leads in creating a concise and engaging report/presentation demonstrating insights against client objectives
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control in data extraction and presentation, including precise transfer of information from source data to client deliverables
  • Follow Verian reporting protocols and branding protocols

 

Managing client relationships

 

  • Liaise with clients on day-to-day project matters, with the level of engagement varying based on project scope and strategic importance as appropriate and as determined by the Project Lead or other relevant senior team members
  • Actively manage client’s expectations and implications regarding costs, timing, etc. 
  • Handle simple client enquiries and proactively anticipates and communicates with clients about key project milestones or changes

 

Role Capabilities

    

  • Provide support with analysis and presentations
  • 0-1 Years experience in the research and consulting industry (entry level).
  • Understand basic data and can identify and specify basic analysis using Q or SPSS
  • Understand statistical significance, knows how to calculate and apply it
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate data extraction - for example, from tables into presentations as well as thorough proofing
  • Ability to draft simple presentations/reports/deliverables
