About the Team
The People Team is a global team and comprises three core functions: People Partnering, People Operations, & Talent Acquisition and there is a wide range of projects, opportunities & initiatives to get involved in across the team.
This year, our focus is on building strong HR foundations, with particular emphasis on culture, performance, data and insights, and launching key HR products with AI & technology at their core.
We are looking for a People Partner to join our team to help develop and deliver strategic HR initiatives throughout the year bringing strong HR experience and expertise from the German & Nordic employment landscape.
About the Role
As a key member of the people team, this is a high-impact People Partner role, offering variety and the opportunity to work closely with local business teams while contributing to the wider people agenda across regions. With employee experience at the heart of the role, the People Partner will play a critical part in enabling business performance, supporting positive people outcomes, and ensuring strong alignment with local compliance requirements and global priorities.
The role brings together strategic advisory work and hands-on delivery, spanning employee relations, reward and benefits, local learning and development, engagement, and operational excellence.
The role is responsible for delivering the People agenda and requires strong partnership with the HR Services Hub, wider People Team, as well as the confidence to guide, influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders on people priorities that are critical to business success.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Partnering & Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to local leadership, aligning people strategies with business goals
- Partnering on programmes on a global level with the People Partnership team and implementing this in a localised approach within region
- Translate global people initiatives into locally relevant actions, driving key priorities across performance, engagement, capability, and development, aligned with global policies
- Use people data and insights to inform decisions, identify trends and highlight risks and opportunities within the local market and provide feedback to global teams on local needs
Employee Relations & Legal Compliance
- Works council collaboration and partnership
- Manage employee relations cases end-to-end
- Ensure timely, fair and compliant resolution of issues in line with local employment legislation and global organisational policy, maintaining accurate documentation and partner with legal counsel where appropriate
- Stay up to date with legislative developments and ensure local policies and practices remain compliant
- Proactively identify and mitigate people-related risk

- Lead the local delivery of engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives
- Own local action planning in response to employee feedback, surveys and listening activities
- Support leaders to communicate change effectively in line with organisational values and culture
What You’ll Bring
- Strong HR People Partner experience with proven employee relations expertise and a solid understanding of German employment law and HR best practice
- Strong experience building effective relationships with Works Councils, ensuring early consultation, constructive dialogue, and compliance with local legal and employee representative requirements
- Proven ability to partner with Works Councils on organisational change, policy development, and people initiatives, balancing business objectives with employee interests to achieve positive outcomes
- Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and experience working across global, matrixed organisations.
- Able to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
