About the Role
We’re looking for an Evaluation Manager or Associate Director to lead and deliver mixed-method evaluations in housing and planning. You’ll help shape policy through high-quality, impactful research. This is a client-facing role with responsibility for managing projects, building strong relationships, and contributing to business development (particularly at AD level).
Role Responsibilities

Manage housing or planning evaluation projects from start to finish

Oversee budgets, timelines, and resource planning

Design and deliver large-scale mixed-method evaluations (quant, qual, Theories of Change, value for money)

Act as main client contact and maintain strong client relationships

Support proposal writing and business development (especially at AD level)

Develop your skills and help your team grow
Your Profile
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience managing housing-related evaluations (process, impact, or economic)
- Interest in policy areas such social housing, private rented sector, house building policy, planning policy, regeneration and local economic growth, supported housing, homelessness
- Stong background in quantitative and/or qualitative research design and delivery
- Excellent project management and client-handling skills
- Confident written, presentation, and delivery abilities
- Team mindest and enthusiasm for learning and mentoring
- (For AD level) A drive to contribute to business development
